West Hartford Memorial Day Parade - March with your team!

When: Monday, May 27

Where to meet:  West of Woodrow Street on Farmington Avenue

Time to meet: 9:30 am

Who: all players welcomed: Training, Mites, Junior, Seniors, and Travel. 

Wear WHGSL and WHYSA uniforms – wear your soccer jersey & comfortable shoes.  Cleats and shin guards are not needed. 

The parade duration is about one hour. You will be notified by your coaches of your line-up location soon!

Memorial Day is all about remembering those who have served our country and died while preserving our country’s freedom.

We ask that all participating groups provide at least ONE NAME of a veteran that you will be honoring on Memorial Day. The veteran’s name will be announced along with your group’s name as you walk by the review stage. The veteran may be a family member, a special friend of someone in your group (either alive or deceased), or a historical figure. You decide who you will honor on this national holiday.
