WHGSL Senior Division
2024 Fall Senior Game Schedule
Team:
- Fall: Team sizes range from 16-18 players per team.
- Spring: Team sizes range from 16-22 players per team.
The Game:
Senior Division games are played with 11 vs. 11 players on a regulation-size field with full-size goals. FIFA rules are followed. Games are played in two 35-minute halves.
Fall: Most games are played at Conard High, but a team may be required to play 1-3 games scheduled in nearby towns. The soccer season is 10 weeks long. In-town games are tracked for placement. Our fall season is competitive, with all in-town games tracked for placement. Out-of-town games are considered scrimmages with assigned referees. At the end of the season, there will be two finalists competing for the WHGSL Senior Championship. The championship game will be played at Hall HS on the turf field.
Spring: All games are played at Glover Soccer Complex on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Our spring season is very low-key. No tracking or placement is kept. It’s an opportunity for players to improve their ball touches with the help of our volunteer coaches.
Time Commitment:
Fall: There are two practice days per week at Conard High School. Most weekends have one game, though there will be one or two weekends with double games. All games are played at Conard HS grass field, Beachland, and/or Hall turf stadium.
Spring: There is one practice day per week at Glover Soccer Complex on Tuesday or Thursday only. Most weekends have one game, though there will be one or two weekends with double games. Spring season games are played at Glover Soccer Complex at 8:30 AM and/or 10:00 AM.
