Team:

• Team size averages 13-16 players per team.

The Game:

The Junior Division plays games with 9 vs. 9 players on a field smaller than regulation size, with full-size goals. This setup optimizes the amount of ball 'touches' each player gets. The WHGSL Junior Division plays four 15-minute quarters. We are committed to giving every player an opportunity to play an uninterrupted quarter.

Time Commitment:

• Fall: All practices and games are played at Sedgwick Middle School. The soccer season lasts 8-10 weeks, with an average of 10 games per season. Most weekends have one game, though there will be one or two weekends with double games. The fall season is competitive, and team placements are tracked.

• Spring: Spring season games typically consist of two games on during the weekend. 

The Season:

• Fall: There are two practices per week at Sedgwick Middle School. Practices usually begin during the last week of August, and the season ends by early November. Fall is our competitive season, with team standings tracked and semi-finals leading up to a championship game at the end of the season.

• Spring: Teams practice one day per week at Glover Soccer Complex; GC2A or GC2B.  These are 9v9 fields.  Practice times are 5-6:30pm or 6:30-8pm.  Head coaches select their choice of practice time. 

Equipment Needed:

• Size 4 soccer ball
• Shin guards
• Cleats
• Water bottle

The Club Provides Uniform:

• 1 jersey
• 1 pair of shorts
• 1 pair of socks
